The internet has recently been taken by storm with the launch of Twitter’s new rivals on the web: “Cheep” and “Warble”. The Twitter Head said “These shameless plagiarists are trying to steal our followers. What's really annoying is - its working.”
Twitter fans around the globe have been mesmerized by the new bird calls. Warble is doing remarkably well as it has spent lavishly on its elaborate design and layout – unlike Cheep, which has visibly been more Spartanly frugal in its approach.
They both assert that people needed a change. The Warble Spokesman was quoted saying, “One can only Twitter for so long before going completely cuckoo. At Warble , we're trying to give our users a more melodious and harmonious way to link up with the world.”
The Chairman of Cheep stated, “We’re not doing anything different or better here – we’re just doing the same thing for a lot less. The amount of money saved already just goes to show how much more has senselessly been twittered away.”
A source close to the Twitter Head has said that these new birds on the flock have him "Tweetering on the edge".
